In fact, these small businesses or companies constitute a major portion of the country’s employers as well as employ more than half of the country’s total workforce. OCHO RIOS, Jamaica — State minister in the Ministry of Industry, Investment and Commerce Sharon Ffolkes-Abrahams says that government will be implementing comprehensive policies to sustain small and medium enterprises.
According to the minister the Companies Office of Jamaica will soon be introducing the super form (business registration form).

HOLGUIN, Cuba — Sergio Luis Suarez, 24, is among the new faces of Cuba’s budding business class. He cut hair for profit before it was legal, but now he’s licensed by the government and has transformed the front of his mother’s apartment into a makeshift salon. His monthly profit: about $25, at 50 cents a cut.
